SABINE BINNS
Mindful Yoga With Elements Of QiGong
Sabine combines her way of living and passion for life into her Yoga Teaching style. Mindful Yoga is a relatively new form of yoga that applies traditional mindfulness teachings to the physical practice of yoga.
Bråinging awareness to the body by channeling the breath to the physical sensations in a Yoga pose has an immediate and powerful effect on the mental and emotional state.
Her style of teaching is based on slow Hatha Yoga combined with a visualization meditation and energetic cues, Mindfulness & simple Breathwork exercises. Sabine also incorporates some elements of QiGong, which promotes the movement of Qi (energy) in the body and complements this style of Yoga.
During Sabine’s class Yogis are invited to close their eyes for the most part. She actively guides you through the energetic cues, encouraging individuals to ‘look inwards’ and start ‘feeling the body’, rather than ‘thinking the body’. (Ideal also for beginners and people with less mobility.)
Sabine is a kind, gentle Clarity BreathworkTM facilitator and Yoga instructor with a huge heart and passion for life. Through her Mindful Yoga and Clarity Breathwork, she gently guides clients through ‘life bumps’ enabling them to release tension, suppressed emotions and trauma or help them to feel relaxed and connected. Through her positive approach to life and coaching techniques, she provides her clients with the motivation they need to make powerful positive changes in their lives and connect with their true essence.
Sabine was born in Vienna, Austria in 1975. Before embarking on her transformational journey, Sabine travelled extensively around the world during her 20 years of working in the corporate hotel and online travel industry.
Over the duration of this time, Sabine came to the realization that she wanted more from life. At 35 she embarked on a transformational journey to learn about herself and reconnect with her true nature. She learned how to heal herself, change limiting beliefs and mindsets, let go of the past to find inner peace and contentment.
Sabine turned her long-term passion, Yoga and Breathwork into her ‘daily work life’, helping people to discover how powerful healing from within can be.
Sabine’s new direction, life experience and expertise enable her to support people on their own individual healing journey and guide them on the simple path to wellness
PURPOSE
Bringing mindfulness into your Yoga practice brings our awareness and focus to what is happening in the very moment. Mindfulness is being awake. Mindfulness is clarity. Bringing awareness to your body and how it moves in a Yoga pose can have an immediate effect on your mental and emotional state.
WHAT IS MINDFUL YOGA EXACTLY?
Mindfulness has always been an essential aspect of the physical practice of yoga. The difference between Mindful Yoga and the wide variety of yoga practices out there is that with Mindful Yoga, the main focus is on mind-body awareness, as opposed to alignment details and the exact physical posture. The point is to cultivate mindfulness, using asana as the vehicle in which to do so.
Bringing mindful awareness to any physical activity creates an alert focus to whatever you are doing in that exact moment, thereby transforming the movement into a form of meditation. Therefore, mindful yoga is considered to be a form of meditation, and/or it is very often practiced before a formal meditation sitting.
Another characteristic of this type of yoga is its emphasis on observing rather than reacting. Although this should always be the case in yoga, this practice, in particular, places great importance on observing your mind and feelings while you are acting out the yoga pose.
CLARITY BREATHWORK
WHAT is Clarity Breathwork ™
Clarity Breathwork (CBW) is a powerful process of healing and transformation. It deeply supports the clearing away of old energies, patterns, conditioning, negative thoughts and emotions and opens the doors wide for new life and greater consciousness.
Most of us don’t breathe fully, we hold back the breath. When we start to breathe fully and consciously, we are easily able to release what we have been holding and open to an incredible expansion of consciousness, including greater forgiveness and self-love. This inner change brings about shifts in our outer lives for the better.
WHAT is Clarity Breathwork ™
Clarity Breathwork supports the release of stress and tension, heal and resolve trauma, gain deeper insights into current life issues.
This process of deep breathing helps to activate the subconscious mind and bring awareness and insights not easily accessed through traditional therapy. Breath opens the energy channels in the body and allows what we have been holding onto to surface and be released. This may be suppressed emotional material, physical blocks in the body, old beliefs structures and identifications, old memories, fight/flight/freeze patterns, and addictions.
Clarity Breathwork combines counseling and insight as well as a somatic experiential process where clients gain a deep level of insight, release emotional baggage and actually feel the patterns shifting and transforming at a deep cellular level.
